Journey to Bethlehem Hosted by Current - A Christian Church Katy

This event sounds very intriguing and something all Christians might want to check out by attending. Current - A Christian Church is performing Journey to Bethlehem on Thursday December 10 from 7 to 9 PM, Friday December 11 from 7 PM till 9 PM; Saturday December 12 from 5 PM till 9 PM and Sunday December 13, 2015 from 5 PM until 8 PM. There will be continuous departures for this Journey. This is the 13TH annual presentation here in Katy.

The Journey is an interactive outdoor and walk-through experience for the entire family. Attendees will step back into time and experience the places, people and circumstances surrounding the birth of Jesus. There are over 200 cast and crew members, live animals and wares. Making the Journey will mean you will encounter Wisemen, Roman Soldiers, Shepherds, Angels and Vendors of the day.  Experience guides will lead attendees down a winding trail through a series of live action scenes. All will be counted in the census but Mary and Joseph will be turned away at the inn. Finally all viewers  will arrive at the simple manger to find Mary and Joseph holding the newborn King Baby Jesus!

This year promises to be the biggest and best Journey to Bethlehem. Last year over 7,000 guests were treated to this experience. I will speculate the attendance will be much larger this year. Weather will obviously be very important. Refreshments will be served. This special event and performance is FREE and no registration is needed. The public is invited. Folks are encouraged to invite family, friends and neighbors.  Many families have made this a family tradition.

Current- A Christian Church is located at 26600 Westheimer Parkway Katy TX 77494.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all.

I love when that happens. We have a local church that does a live nativity all month.  I haven't been yet, but I will.

We have a church that does a drive through nativity scene. It is very popular and creates a traffic jam. All good!
