Special Study Seminar at Cinco Ranch High School Katy

Special Study Seminar at Cinco Ranch High School Katy

The Katy ISD Community Education program  is sponsoring a special study seminar being presented by the Sycamore Learning Center. The seminar is being held on saturday August 29, 2015 at Cinco Ranch High School. The seminar starts at 9 AM and will end at 1 PM. The cost is only $60 per student.

This seminar will assist students in learning new study techniques and how to properly manage their time. Study skills are very valuable and so is time management skill sets. Katy ISD opened the 2015-2016 school year today and this seminar is being held at an excellent point in time right at the beginning of the new school year.

This seminar will cover: Study Techniques; Memorization; Setting Goals; Essay Writing; Note Taking; Speed Reading and overall Scheduling of School Work. All of these areas are important to any student and even good students I think could benefit from attending.

This type of assistance to students did not exist when I went through High School and or College. I was very good with memory of lecture or book material and note taking but my organization of homework not so much which made studying for accounting tests a severe challenge.

Cinco Ranch High School is located at 23440 Cinco Ranch Blvd, Katy TX 77494.

Parents I believe should seriously consider sending their student to this seminar. Registration can be done online.

I can imagine that if we had had a seminar available like that when I was a kid, it would have helped considerably!
